As many of you know, Maria Montessori School has very humble beginnings. It is through hard work and dedication that we are now counted among the best in basic school education in the metropolis.

Our Story

Founded in 1989 in Kumasi by Mrs. Grace Boaten, the school started in a family home with just ten children. Quickly, it grew into a nurturing nursery, becoming known in the community as a great place for toddlers.

Our Growth

Responding to the need for quality education, the school expanded to include a primary school by 1992, operating initially from a family residence. Despite challenges, including a severe rainstorm in 1993, Maria Montessori School moved to a new, spacious site in Odeneho Kwadaso, accommodating a growing number of students.

Today, Maria Montessori School is a respected institution known for high academic standards. Our students excel academically, morally, and socially, laying strong foundations for future success.

With over 35 years of experience, we offer a balanced co-educational environment, focusing on individual potential and personal growth.

We provide counseling support, especially for our junior secondary students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future.
